Troy is currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology. During his co-op, Troy has worked on designing and coordinating large scale plumbing systems. When Troy is not busy cheering for his favorite Boston sports teams, he spends most of his time with his dog named Riley. Through both college and co-op experiences, Troy has gained engineering skills in computer aided design and problem solving which will be important for the Micro-g NExT challenge.
Jake is a mechanical engineering student at Wentworth Institute of Technology. He spends his free time skiing the mountains of New England, and is one of the founding members of the Wentworth Ski and Snowboard club. Throughout his Co-op experience, he has worked in composite manufacturing, underwater robotics, and on nuclear powered submarines. Both his college and co-op experience has led him to become proficient in a number of different engineering skill areas including CAD, design for manufacturability, computer aided manufacturing, and problem troubleshooting. His skills will be vital in the design and manufacturing of the microgravity regolith extractor.
